पाँच जना नेपाली विज्ञान शिक्षक नेपालको प्रतिनिधित्व गर्दै प्रतिष्ठित एक्सपोजर क्याम्पको लागि मुम्बईमा प्रशिक्षित हुदै

 होमी बाबा साइन्स सेन्टर फर साइन्स ऐडुकेशन(HOMI BABA SCIENCE CENTER FOR SCIENCE EDUCATION) र टाटा इन्स्टिच्युट अफ फन्डामेन्टल रिसर्च (TATA INSTITUTE OF FUNDAMENTAL RESEARCH)द्वारा आयोजना गरिएको र नेपाल एस्ट्रोनोमिकल सोसाइटी(NEPAL ASTRONOMICAL SOCIETY -NASO)को सिफारिसमा बहुप्रतिष्ठित ओलम्पियाड एक्सपोजर क्याम्प Astronomy Olympiad Exposure Camp मा भाग लिन छनोट हुनु भई नेपालको प्रतिनिधित्व गर्दै उत्कृष्ठ ४ जना विज्ञान शिक्षकहरु मुम्बई प्रस्थान गर्नुभएको छ ।

Nov 17-21 देखि ५ दिनसम्म सञ्चालन हुने क्याम्पमा विद्यार्थीहरुको Astronomy Olympiad सम्बन्धी विषयवस्तुप्रतिको अवधारणा गहन् बनाउने र विषयवस्तुप्रतिको तिक्ष्णता बढाउने सम्बन्धमा ननीवतम् अवधारणाहरुमा केन्द्रित भएर विभिन्न Hands on activities, Theoretical discussion, Observatory session इत्यादिमा कार्यशालाहरु सञ्चालन हुने छन् । जसबाट विद्यालय शिक्षाको गुणस्तर अभिवृद्धि गर्न र अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय स्तरमा नेपाली विद्यार्थीहरुको एस्ट्रोनोमी ओलम्पियाड ऱ्याङ्क बढाउन प्रतक्ष्य बढावा मिल्ने विश्वास गरिएको छ ।

Five outstanding science teachers from Nepal have been selected—on the recommendation of the Nepal Astronomical Society (NASO)—to participate in the highly prestigious Astronomy Olympiad Exposure Camp, organized by the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE) and the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR). They will be representing Nepal as they depart for Mumbai.

The five-day camp is designed to deepen participants’ understanding of concepts related to the Astronomy Olympiad. The program focuses on strengthening conceptual clarity and sharpening subject-specific competence through a series of hands-on activities, theoretical discussions, observatory sessions, and various thematic workshops. It is expected that this exposure will directly contribute to enhancing the international ranking and performance of Nepali students in the Astronomy Olympiad.
